Delete your account

You can delete your Baby Name Matcher account and associated data from Trine Studios at any time. This includes guest accounts.

In the app

Open Settings → Delete account, then confirm. Wait for the deletion confirmation before closing the app.

Request deletion without the app

Email [email protected] with the subject “Baby Name Matcher account deletion”. If you registered an email address, send your request from that address. For a guest account, include your support ID if you have it. You can copy it from Settings → Copy support ID while you still have access to the app.

We will reply to help identify your account and verify that it belongs to you before deleting it. Guest accounts have no email address, so we may be unable to identify one if you have lost both access and its support ID. Never send your password or partner invite code.

What is deleted

Your account, profile, saved name choices, custom names and registered push tokens are removed from the active database. Shared matches and obsolete match alerts are also removed. Your partner keeps their own account, choices and custom names.

What may remain temporarily

Operational logs, backups and crash diagnostics follow our service providers' separate retention schedules and are not all erased immediately. Firebase Crashlytics retains crash data and associated identifiers for 90 days before removal from live and backup systems begins. Read our privacy policy for more information.

Account deletion is permanent. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your account.
