• Couple data — Your invite code and partner link, so you can match names together.
• Votes — Your likes and skips on baby names, stored to calculate matches with your partner.
• Custom names — Any names you add to the app, visible only to you and your partner.
• Device tokens — Push notification tokens, used solely to send you match notifications.

How We Use Your Information

• To match you with your partner when you both like the same name.
• To send push notifications about new matches.
• To display your vote history and matched names within the app.
• To improve the app’s functionality and fix bugs.

What We Don’t Do

• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
• We do not share your votes, matches, or custom names with anyone other than your linked partner.
• We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.
• We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit. Access to your data is controlled through Row Level Security (RLS) policies — you can only access your own data and data shared with your linked partner.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove all associated personal data, votes, matches, and custom names within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Authentication and database hosting.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — Push notification delivery.
• Firebase Crashlytics — Anonymous crash reporting to help us fix bugs.

Children’s Privacy

Baby Name Matcher is intended for adults (expectant parents). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data and account.
• Export your data in a portable format.
